Dr. Kendra Reynolds

Veterinarian, Practice Owner

Dr. Reynolds is a 1992 graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years, her career has evolved from equine medicine to companion animal care, and she continues to grow her expertise through ongoing education and hands-on experience. Her current areas of interest include behavior, dermatology, and surgery.

Dr. Reynolds has completed extensive continuing education in a variety of subjects, including soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, pocket pet and ferret care, and companion animal behavior. She has also served in leadership roles as Vice President and President of the Saginaw Valley Veterinary Medical Association. In 2010, she had the incredible opportunity to travel to China, where she met with local veterinarians, toured hospitals and zoos, and visited panda breeding facilities.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Reynolds shares a passion for ballroom dance with her husband, Steve. The two previously owned Studio 110, a dance studio, and now compete across the country as a pro-am couple in both Latin and Ballroom dance categories. At home, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her beloved pets: her cats Gary, Kevin and Grubby, her French Bulldogs Daryl and Linda, and her flock of chickens.

Dr. Jessie Caron

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessie is a proud Michigan State University graduate, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 2019 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Throughout her studies, she stayed deeply connected to her roots—spending weekends and school breaks working at a family friends’ restaurant or at the very vet clinic where her love for veterinary medicine first began.

Dr. Jessie has special interests in exotic animal care, poultry, dermatology, and surgery. At home, she and her husband, Steve, share their lives with a lively household that includes their two dogs, Mavis and Kaia; two cats, Gilligan and Remmy; and their bearded dragons, Ricky and Morty. Together, they dream of starting a hobby farm with ducks, goats, and maybe even cows and horses in the near future.

In her spare time, Dr. Jessie enjoys belly dancing at events or just for fun, exploring Michigan on spontaneous road trips, playing games with her husband, and creating personalized gifts through her pyrography (wood-burning) art. Her creativity, passion, and dedication to animals make her a wonderful addition to our veterinary team.

Martha

Martha is one of the first smiling faces you'll see when you walk through our doors, always ready to make you feel welcome and at ease. A valued member of our team since 2003, she brings years of experience and is a go-to resource for clients with questions big or small.

At home, Martha stays busy with her husband, children, and grandchildren—along with her beloved dog, Fergie. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and canning, and she’s always eager to try new recipes, especially when she can use her own home-grown herbs.
Next time you’re in, be sure to ask Martha about her latest favorite recipe—you might just leave with a new dish to try!

Aubrey

As our Office Manager, Aubrey keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes while also being one of the friendly faces you’ll often see at the front desk. Whether she’s answering phone calls, helping clients, or managing the day-to-day details that keep the clinic moving, Aubrey is always happy to help.

She lives with her husband, Ryan, and their four beloved cats—Cabby, Calvin, Yoda, and Boba (pictured!). Aubrey is happiest outdoors, whether she’s gardening or birdwatching, and she also enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and attending concerts.
Aubrey brings heart, organization, and a positive spirit to the team. Her favorite quote sums her up perfectly: “Life is too short to be anything but happy…” 🙂

Alyssa

Alyssa is a dedicated assistant to our doctors and a valuable part of the team here at Clio Animal Hospital. A quick learner with a strong work ethic, she performs her duties thoroughly and efficiently. Alyssa treats every pet with the same love and care she gives her own, making her someone you can truly trust with your fur-babies.

Her love for animals—especially her dog, Reggie—is what inspired her to join the veterinary field. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time up north with her family, where they love taking the boat out and soaking up the sunshine. She's also a big fan of sports, both playing and watching, and she’s always up for a concert, with music being a constant in her life.
Alyssa’s energy, compassion, and team spirit make her a great fit for our hospital family.

Her combination of expertise, compassion, and dedication makes Danyel a valued part of our team and a trusted partner in your pet’s health.

Megan

We’re thrilled to welcome Megan back to our team! A Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2003, Megan brings a wealth of experience from a variety of veterinary settings, including emergency clinics, daytime practices, and even a zoo. Her diverse background has made her a well-rounded and knowledgeable technician.

In addition to her hands-on work, Megan shares her expertise as an Adjunct Instructor in the Veterinary Technology Program at Baker College. She has a strong passion for exotic animal medicine, with a special interest in reptiles.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys painting, reading, caring for her own reptiles, and watching Star Trek. She also loves spending quality time up north with her husband and two daughters. Megan’s dedication, knowledge, and enthusiasm for both teaching and animal care make her a valued member of our team.

Jessica

Jessica is a multi-talented team member who’s always ready to lend a hand wherever she’s needed. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Biomedical Sciences from Saginaw Valley State University and is currently pursuing her goal of attending Veterinary School.

Jessica’s passions extend beyond the clinic—she’s an avid dog and horse trainer, and you can often find her enjoying the great outdoors with her beloved pets, Brixton and Nalla. Her love for nature doesn’t stop there; Jessica also takes pride in maintaining the clinic’s seasonal landscaping and has a growing collection of plants at home.

When she’s not working or tending to her animals and garden, Jessica values quality time with her family. Her diverse skills, strong work ethic, and genuine care for both animals and people make her a valued part of the team.

Hanna

Hanna has been passionate about animals and their well-being from a young age, making a career in animal care a natural fit. Originally from Rhode Island, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Science with a specialization in Equine Rehabilitation from SUNY Morrisville. During her studies, she completed a 15-week internship at Unionville Equine Associates in Oxford, PA, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

At home, Hanna is kept on her toes by her orange cat, Lenny, who enjoys sunbathing, playing with his housemate, and receiving affection—on his terms, of course. When she’s not caring for animals at the clinic, Hanna loves spending time outdoors, especially trail riding on horseback.

While her long-term plans are still unfolding, Hanna is happy to have found her place at Clio Animal Hospital, where she looks forward to learning, growing, and making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

Miranda

Miranda brings a unique and diverse background to the Clio Animal Hospital team, shaped by her upbringing in the countryside where she helped raise deer, raccoons, opossums, and even hummingbirds. This early exposure to wildlife sparked a deep passion for animal care and wildlife rehabilitation, which naturally led her into the veterinary field.
With over five years of experience, Miranda is a skilled and versatile team member, always ready to jump in and lend a hand wherever she’s needed. Her hands-on knowledge and adaptability make her a valuable asset in all areas of the clinic.
Outside of work, Miranda enjoys taking on DIY projects—especially resin and painting. She also shares her home with her husband Nate and a vibrant collection of pets she has rescued, including two dogs (Snoopy and Doofy), six cats, and her Uromastyx.
Miranda’s dedication, creativity, and love for animals of all kinds make her an essential part of our team.
